Privacy Policy
Last updated July 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information CollegeWonder collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. This is a plain-language summary provided as a template — replace it with policy reviewed by your counsel before launch.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name and email address when you sign up.
- Profile answers — the responses you provide during onboarding (major, grades, budget, location, athletics), used to compute your matches.
- Activity — the schools you save or pass, so we can keep your list in sync across devices.
How we use your information
We use your information solely to generate and personalize your college matches, keep you signed in, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information, and schools cannot pay for placement in your results.
Where your data lives
Account and profile data are stored with our infrastructure provider (Supabase) and protected with row-level security so only you can read or change your own records. College data comes from the public U.S. Department of Education College Scorecard.
Your choices
- You can view and edit your profile at any time from your profile page.
- You can delete your account, which removes your profile and saved lists.
- You can contact us to request a copy of your data.
